July brings...

My Beautiful Coral Roses
Hiding under the undergrowth I discovered a Astilbe , creamy little flowers. The Beautiful Hydie's every July
Lovely pale Blue. It's nearly the end of the month , so I hope August brings more Blooms. It's been a mixed month weather wise, with heavy rain and Sunshine and warm weather towards the end of the Month.
Have a Lovely Weekend and hope the Sun is shining today . If not just enjoy what ever the weather.

  2. Hi Sheila, that blue Coral Roses is beautiful, such a clear colour, I'd love one like that. BTW I've made a start on Your painting, but it's been so hot the paint has dried on the brush , so it's on hold till it gets cooler.Bear with me.

  4. I love your hydrangea, such a gorgeous colour :) Its difficult to grow blue hydrangeas here the soil is not right, we have to add something to the soil to get them the right colour. I have a white one in my garden but the flowers are flat, they do have a special name, but it is late and I am tired and my brain won't work any more lol xx

Those blue flowers are lovely, have you ever tried drying any of them along with the others to create a magnificent bouquet or do you prefer just to admire them outdoors?

    1. Hello Rhapsody
No I haven't but I sometimes make a large flower arrangement to put in front of the Fireside. But must admit it's lovely to admire them from the kitchen window.

  12. Hi Sheila, this is in answer to the question you had about the Amaryllis. They can be outside as long as there is no frost. If there is frost then they will die. These are subtropical plants and can not stand frost or freezing weather. Now is the time to stop watering them and let them rest, just before Christmas you can water them again and feed them so they can bloom for you after Christmas.

    1. This is also the time to lift them out of the garden and repott them and bring them inside. I always give them a little bone meal when I repott my flowers.

    2. Hi Horst thank you so much my little Amaryllis is now resting as you suggested I wasn't sure as to water or not. Must admit I have never put them outside , so that's a thought. Thank you once again.
      Best wishes
      Sheila
